International Student Media Festival, Anaheim, CA, Thursday October 25-27.
On Friday I will be presenting on introductory podcasting and iMovie for 4th and 5th graders.

Celebrated Our Rising Stars Summit, Washington D.C., October 29-31.
I will be presenting with Antioch University the results of a four year research study we completed.
My portion of the larger presentation is about teaching writing in the context of the Open Court Reading Program.
My colleagues, also Open Court teachers, present on using interactive journals.

Computer Using Educators, Los Angeles, CUELA Tech Fair, Beverly Hills, CA. November 3rd.
I will presenting on How to Enhance the Open Court Reading Program Using Technology

Brentwood Science Magnet, Apple School Night, Santa Monica, CA, Tuesday, November 6th, 7:00 PM.
I will be sharing some of the new work we have been creating at my new school using Apple Computers.

Los Angeles County Office of Education, Downey, CA, December 1st & 8th.
Closing the Digital Divide: Integrating Technology in the Open Court Reading Program
